HIDEOUT HORIZON X ECO BAMBOO HOME

Hideout Horizon is an all bamboo-home with open space design, on the ground floor, you can find a neat, fully equipped kitchen with stove and smaller fridge, cozy living/relaxing area (with extra hanging hammock), bathroom with outdoor shower, and indoor-outdoor plunge pool, covered from rain by large overhanging grass roof.
It is a very playful and adventurous space – with large net overhanging the pool, you can climb up there by bamboo shelves or get there through the master bed.
Following the bamboo ramp, it leads you to a large round bed (240cm wide) with two-layer mosquito net, providing safety and privacy.

If you want to stay here, I suggest you book it waaaaaay in advance as it’s almost always fully booked.

GREEN VILLAGE

Perched on the sacred Ayung River and surrounded by the lush Balinese forest, Green Village is a tranquil and peaceful compound that hosts spectacular bamboo houses and villas. Each luxury villa and house in Green Village is constructed almost entirely from bamboo, custom-designed by the IBUKU architectural team and built by hand. The beautiful structures showcase how bamboo – combined with brass, copper, and stone – can create sustainable, luxurious floors, walls, ceilings, stairs, and railings.

BAMBU INDAH, MOON HOUSE

Bambu Indah is a boutique hotel in Ubud, carefully curated by designers and long term residents of Bali, John and Cynthia Hardy.

Inspired by their travels and graced with the local culture, the antique Javanese homes and unique bamboo structures are there for you to immerse yourself in.

There are multiple houses to choose from. I picked the Moon House. The houses are surrounded by breathtaking gardens.

This one is also a bit more expensive, but I couldn’t let it out!
