Review: Astera Resort Canggu
So, Canggu, yeah? It's thé happening spot in Bali right now. But let me tell you, finding the perfect hotel in this whirlwind of vibes can be a bit like finding a unicorn on a Monday—challenging, but not impossible. I stumbled upon a hidden gem that strikes the perfect balance—nestled away from the bustling center yet close enough to soak up all the action. Enter Astera Resort—a haven primarily for honeymooners and couples, but this solo explorer right here (me) had a blast too!
Location perfection
So, Astera Resort sits right in the beating heart of Canggu, Bali's buzzing paradise. And here's the kicker—it's not right smack in the middle of the frenzy. Nope, it's strategically perched a bit away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to keep you in the loop of all the shenanigans (10 minute drive to Batu Bolong, the main street). It's like having your cake and eating it too—peaceful tranquility when you need it, and an easy jaunt to where the party's at!
Honeymooners, couples and solo travelers are all welcome
Astera Resort is all about love and romance. Like, it's their middle name. But , despite the romance vibe, this place is a gold mine for solo explorers too! The private villas, though typically for the lovey-dovey pairs, are like your own secluded kingdom. I mean, I had my private pool and jacuzzi—a little slice of paradise, just for me. It's like the universe's way of saying, "Hey, you deserve some pampering too!"
You won’t break the bank staying at Astera Resort
Now, let's get down to business—how much does it cost? Astera Resort is your genie in a bottle, granting wishes for both the luxury lovers and the penny pinchers. While the private villas lean towards the 'treat yo'self' side, they've got options that won't have you selling a kidney. Because guess what? Luxury doesn't always have to cost an arm and a flip-flop. And here's a secret: even their more budget-friendly rooms have a touch of that Astera magic.
My stay at Astera Resort Canggu
So, let's paint the full picture of my solo escapade at Astera Resort. I bunked in one of their delightful private villas, fully expecting rose petals and heart-shaped pillows (they didn't disappoint). My villa even had a private pool and a private jacuzzi!
What I liked is that it’s a rather small resort with just a few villa’s and one ‘normal’ room. Aside from the private villa pools, they also have a big infinity pool overlooking the rice paddies. There’s also a restaurant and a spa, so if you don’t feel like going into town, you can just stay at home, because everything you need is available!
So, yeah, my solo stint here? An absolute adventure with more luxury and tranquility than I ever expected!
